Books #12 and #13; Film #5

Well this blog seems to have become less a blog and more a personal progress record. Oh, well, nevermind. I shall keep going anyway and maybe next year make a resolution to blog properly.

Book #12 was Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith. Can’t work out whether I liked or loathed it. I found it a fun, pacey read, but had trouble suspending disbelief.

Book #13 was The No-Nonsense Guide to The Arms Trade by Gideon Burrows. It was very informative, although the copy I had seems a bit out of date now. No doubt many of the practices described are still alive and kicking, unlike the people on the pointy end of the arms being traded.

Film #5 was Black Cat, White Cat, a rather amusing romp of a film set amongst a community of Roma gypsies living in Serbia.
